Josey P. Rayzal

Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, left an impact on Philippine society. The Philippine Revolution against the Spanish colonial rule was led by him, and that is probably his greatest contribution. Novels like "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo," written by Rizal, were more effective social awakening sources and gave Filipinos a sense of identity. Rizal created a desire for independence by exposing the injustices and abuses committed under Spanish rule in his writings.

Also, Rizal's support of education was important in forming the Philippines' logical environment. He pushed for changes to the educational system because he understood the importance of education to achieving progress in society.  Based on his belief  an educated public would be more capable of fighting injustice and improving the country.

Finally, Rizal stands toward as a leader who tried To change through peaceful means due to his dedication to peaceful reform. His focus on civic engagement, education, and speech left an impact that inspired Filipinos in later generations to seek social and political change through peaceful means.  The death of Rizal in 1896 served as an inspiration for the Philippine independence movement by boosting him to a position of bravery and rebellion against colonial oppression.
