Finally

 I can't believe the 4th Quarter is almost over. I learned a lot this quarter, especially about information and communication technologies, like LAN, MAN, and WAN networks. The activities, especially creating a blog, were enjoyable because I got to share my thoughts on different topics given by our teachers.

Managing my time was a big challenge this quarter. I struggled to keep up with assignments because I thought I could rush through them, especially when school starts late. This made it hard to focus and plan properly.

Despite the challenges, I'll use what I learned to improve myself. Even though it's the end of Grade 10, it's the beginning of a new journey. I'm grateful for the chance to interact and share my ideas on this platform.

Future?!

 Thinking about the future can be overwhelming, with darkness making it hard to see ahead. Despite wanting to dream, it's tough to see past the struggles. Since I was a teenager, I've battled thoughts of giving up, feeling weighed down by a heavy burden that blocks any light. Sometimes, it seems pointless to dream when a brighter future feels impossible.

But even in the dark times, a small glimmer of hope keeps me going. It's the belief that things might get better someday, despite the tough times. This hope comes from the kindness of those who care, even when I struggle to care for myself.

Looking ahead ten years, it's hard to be certain. But I hope to be in a better place than I am now, having overcome these struggles.

My mom is like the best person I’ve ever known, she keeps inspiring me to be positive. I'm amazed by how she handles everything with strength, even though being a mom isn't easy. I really admire all moms, especially mine, for not just being moms, but also for being good role models in my life.

Since I was a kid, my mom has been my best friend. I can always rely on her, and she listens to all my worries without judging me. Even when things get tough, she has a way of making everything better with just a few words. That's why, no matter what, my mom will always be my mom.

I think Mother's Day is important because it's a chance to celebrate everything moms do for us. But really, we should celebrate them every day by showing them love and making them happy. Even when they scold us, it's because they care. Moms are so brave and deserve all our love and appreciation. They're like our superheroes, and we should always cherish them.

 I think earning who you are, your interests, and how they connect to the things you care about is the first step to changing the world. After choosing what matters most to you, get familiar about those topics. See things from many viewpoints to understand the reason behind each of them.

Once you've learned yourself, do something. This could mean starting a project, joining a community effort, volunteering, or advocating. Little actions may have an important effect.  You may help with the creation of beneficial changes through educating others, coordinated efforts, and promoting resources. Remember that changing the world takes teamwork and demands commitment, hard work, and cooperation. Every action, no matter how tiny, makes the world a better place.

Womp womp II

 Every year on April 9th, the Philippines celebrate Araw ng Kagitingan, also known as the Day of Valor, an important day in Philippine history. This day just remembers the bravery shown during the Battle of Bataan, which happened on April 9, 1942, leading to the well known Bataan Death March where many Filipino and American prisoners of war faced tough conditions. It honors the bravery and sacrifice of Filipino and American soldiers who fought against Japanese forces during World War II.

This event of Araw ng Kagitingan is a reminder of the Filipino people's long term spirit and sense of patriotism. The soldiers showed solid courage and tackle in defense of their country in the face of severe odds and difficult scenarios.  Their bravery and selflessness are an example to the Filipino people's resilience and unity in the face of challenges, promoting next generations to defend their beliefs of justice and freedom.

Araw ng Kagitingan promotes thought of the the past in plus paying tribute to the past. People are led to see the worth of freedom and peace, as well as the need of working together to protect these values. Filipinos are brought up to protect the tradition of heroic acts and make sure that the sacrifices of those who died are never forgotten by remembering the sacrifices made by before them.

TERD KWARTER!

 Haaaays Once more quarter left, I have learned a lot this quarter. I also got for taking part in an experience a number of events that I really enjoyed. I am still able to recall the happiness I experienced after writing those HTMLs (even though our usb got corrupted). We may have run into a few problems while completing things, but nothing can compare to the sense of relief I had after the problem was solved.  Also, the creation of blogs continues to be my favorite aspect of ICT (even though I don’t really like expressing myself).

    I also gained a lot of knowledge in other areas. Fortunately, I can use a few of them in my daily life. The new information I've learned has improved my life in a significant way. I enjoy the stories and subjects we are discussing, especially the ones I can connect to. Also, I have made new friends this quarter.

     I don’t usually try but I'll keep working harder and making improvements for my improvement as I go on to the next chapter or possibly the last one for this school yea. Though times may be difficult, let's persevere and maintain our positive outlook on life. One more quarter represents a new experience and a lesson gained. May we all be brave and keep fighting no matter what circumstances we face. I'm grateful, ONE MORE QUARTER LEFTTTTTTTTTT

HAVE YOUR HOPES HIGH

 

Ilocos Sur National High School celebrated its 122nd High School Day on March 9 to celebrate the school's rich background and academic achievements. The costume parade, field demonstration, performance, and Mr. and Ms. Ilocos Sur National High School are just a few of the events that took place.

Students from every grade level walked through Vigan City's streets, showing the costumes and props they would be using for the field demonstration. Each grade level's most disciplined section was chosen throughout the parade, and we (Marconi) won the most disciplined section and the prize was 1k php. .
The local dances that the students per grade level performed, from Ilocos Norte to Cebu, added to the history and culture. Students were able to capture the spirit of each place's history and custom.

Each club at the school also set up a booth as a means to earn money. Also, a performance featuring the skills of the school's teachers and students was organized inside the gymnasium. Three days following the parade, the gymnasium hosted the Mr. and Ms. ISNHS coronation. I am able to say that, compared to my junior high school years, this high school day is most likely the best one. It honors the early days of our school as well as its continuing achievements.

 For me, Women's Month is a significant period dedicated to honoring the contributions, accomplishments, and challenges faced by women throughout history. It's a time to recognize the strides made in advancing gender equality and empowering women across all facets of society. As we commemorate Women's Month, it's crucial to reflect on the journey of women's rights and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

Over the years, women have played vital roles in shaping our world, yet their efforts have often been sidelined or underestimated. Women's Month provides a platform to acknowledge and value the resilience, strength, and diversity of women's experiences. It's an opportunity to confront the obstacles women have encountered, from advocating for suffrage to battling for equal pay and breaking barriers in male-dominated industries. Despite advancements, there's still work needed to ensure that women have equitable opportunities and rights.

Wowers TLE club!

 The "ESTUDYANTREPRENEUR" event was a lovely experience for m. It showcased the talent and creativity of the officers of the TLE Club. The highlight of the event for me was the short video that shows us about two lovers lives ( Eloise and Seb) that took a unexpected turn when Seb was suddenly attacked by his fellow students then thrown of from the 4th floor and died. Well that’s how I understand the film, I didn’t really payed any attention when the short film was happening.

Besides the film that they’ve showed us, the event included a yummy selection of traditional Ilocano foods, I think was made by TLE Club members. From the tasty miki and pancit to the sweet pastillas and graham balls, people were treated to a tasty meal that showed the region's food. To compliment the delicious meal, the officers provided the students with a refreshing homemade juice of some kind.

Overall, "ESTUDYANTREPRENEUR" was a great event that showcases the talent and entrepreneurship of the TLE officers and allowing TLE Club members to show off their abilities in filmmaking, and cooking.The event offered an opportunity to not only show their abilities, but also point out Ilocos Sur's interesting culture and traditions, making a lasting effect on those who attended.
